A botanical garden is situated on the premises of the college campus. Various herbs, shrubs and trees are grown here. The ornamental plants Hibiscus rosa sinensis,Hibiscus mutabilis, Shoe flower, Dracaena, Fishtail Palm, Poinsettia and Thuja etc. increase the aesthetic value of this garden. Economically important plants such as wood apple, Indian gooseberry are also planted. The annual flowering plants are also planted according to season. The flower and floral parts of these plants are used in the practicals. A polyhouse is also there to maintain the indoor plants. Some of the plants are also enclosed in the fencing to be protected from the outsiders and monkeys.
Gardening operations mentioned in the syllabus of students in their curriculum are also explained (sowing, transplanting and maintenance of plants) with the help of a gardener.
